Purchase and maintenance of pine furniture

Pine furniture is a kind of solid wood furniture, so it has many similarities with solid wood furniture in terms of purchase:
1. Lightly press each stress point of the furniture, such as column corners, drawers or shelf supports, etc., to test whether it is stable;
2. Pay special attention to the joints of heavy furniture components, which should be fastened with screw caps;
3. Check the sliding and positioning of the drawers, open all door leaves, and make sure they are installed properly and are in good use;
4. Touch the surface of the furniture with your hand to see if they are smooth and if it is possible to hook the protrusions of the clothes;
5. It depends on whether the wood texture is clear and clear.

Furniture maintenance: Pine wood is very natural, so you need to pay attention to the following 3 aspects in maintenance.
1: Always use a soft cloth along the texture of the wood grain to remove dust from the furniture. Before removing dust, you should apply a spray cleaner on the soft cloth;
2: When in use, use a mat as much as possible under the hot plate, so as to avoid overflowing of the food soup, staining or damaging the tabletop;
3: Try to avoid contact with corrosive liquids, alcohol, nail polish, etc. on the furniture surface.
There is a wonderful way to remove pine oil: many consumers often encounter pine oil (pine resin) remaining in the pine wood or seeping out of the surface during the use of pine furniture, which not only causes difficulty in painting, but also affects the appearance and use effect. If you want to get rid of the pine oil in the pine wood, you can choose the following methods:
(1). Alkaline washing method
Use 8%~10% sodium carbonate (edible soda noodles) aqueous solution, or 4%~6% caustic soda solution to clean the pine oil parts of the pine to saponify the pine oil (oil and alkali react to become soap and glycerin) , Then use a sponge or brush dipped in hot water (40~50℃) to scrub and rinse.
(2). Rinse method
Add 20 grams of bleaching powder to 0.5 kilograms of warm water to dissolve it. Use this solution to repeatedly paint the pine oiled parts of the pine until it becomes slightly white, and then rinse with water.
(3) Eradication method
For the part where the pine oil seeps more, you can use a spatula to remove the part, and then smooth it with mud. No matter which method is used, it needs to be scrubbed with ethanol (alcohol) or a layer of shellac varnish to prevent the pine oil that has not been removed from the pine wood from leaking out and affecting the paint film.
(4). Dissolution method
Dissolve with 25% acetone aqueous solution, and brush with a mixture of 20% acetone aqueous solution and a small amount of alkali.
